Privacy Policy (Eigo Quest)

1. Introduction

The App is an English-learning app for children. To respect users' privacy to the fullest, the App is designed so that all features run entirely on the device (offline) and no information is ever transmitted externally.

This policy explains what information the App handles on the device and how it is protected.

2. Information We Collect or Transmit

The App does not collect or transmit any personal information.

The App has no server and does not send any information about the user — to the developer or any third party. It requires no account registration or sign-in (no email address, password, etc.).

Information we do not obtain: email address, phone number, postal address, location, date of birth, photos, contacts, device identifiers, advertising ID, or any other information that directly identifies an individual.

3. Information Stored on the Device

The App stores the following information needed to continue the learning experience only on the user's device. This information is never transmitted outside the App.

This information is stored within the App's area on the device (the iOS app sandbox) and cannot be accessed by other apps or from outside.

4. External Transmission, Third Parties, and Tracking

The App performs no network communication whatsoever (fully offline). It contains no advertising, analytics, or tracking mechanisms.
Audio (word pronunciation) is played from files bundled inside the App. No external service is contacted during playback.
Fonts used for display are bundled inside the App; no external service (e.g., Google Fonts) is contacted for display.
We never provide or sell information to third parties.

5. Children's Privacy

Because the App holds no collected information and performs no external transmission, children's personal information never leaves the device.
The App does not ask children to enter personal information (only an optional nickname).
We respect Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information and general requirements for the protection of children under 13 (including the U.S. COPPA and Apple's Kids requirements).

6. Reviewing and Deleting Data

Learning data stored on the device is completely erased by deleting (uninstalling) the App.
Individual profiles (display name, avatar, and learning records) can also be selected and deleted from the profile screen within the App.

7. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be revised in response to feature additions or changes in operating practices. Significant changes will be communicated through app updates.
